I am running 10k during the weekend of 28th & 29th March to raise money to support those with broken hearts and empty arms.

I'm thankful that my husband and I had the opportunity to see our little one's heart beat - a memory I will always treasure. However following an anxious week of bleeding, a scan confirmed that this was no longer the case.

Just before Christmas, when I should have been 10 weeks, I had a miscarriage at home.

The support I found online reading and listening to other woman's stories with The Worst Girl Gang Ever (TWGGE) along with Tommy's Wellbeing After Miscarriage programme has helped me both understand and start to process our loss.

I used to love running so have chosen this goal to give me a focus for the start of 2026 seeing as the year isn't starting out quite as I imagined. This page is raising money for TWGGE but I will match up to £200 donations to Tommy's who are also funding research into miscarriage.
