Story
As many of you know, I work for an amazing charity supporting people in Bucks struggling with their mental health.
Part of my role involves supporting the wonderful people who take on a challenge and raise money for us.
I thought it was time that I joined them and did something myself 😊 For me exercise has been really beneficial for my mental health since staring my menopausal journey. Therefore, this November I will be aiming to walk 400,000 steps. It’s not as impressive as some of our fundraisers who run a marathon or take on an iron man, but given I work 8hrs a day mainly sat on my bottom, it is now dark in the mornings and evenings, and I no longer have my little friend, Libby to walk with, it will definitely be challenging for me.
I will track my steps and keep you updated and if you are able to make a donation to support me that would be so very much appreciated and will help soften the pain in my hips, knees and feet 😉
All donations will help Buckinghamshire Mind deliver services in the community such as Counselling, Peer Support Groups or Children and Young People services.
Thank you xxx
