Last week the lovely Rob was taken by cancer after a very short battle - a matter of weeks between diagnosis and it claiming his life. Rob was the kindest, most generous, living life to the full, funny, thoughtful, soul who loved people, running and a glass of Prosecco. He is, and will always be, sorely missed. His illness was so quick and devastating that there was no time for treatment. I would like to raise money for Cancer Research to change this for other people.

I am undertaking RideCymru - 250 lumpy miles over 3 days and various mountains with 6 weeks training - I know it’s idiotic but, particularly with Rob’s death I feel like one has to take every opportunity that comes ones way. Even if it feels like an almost insurmountable challenge. Almost. Because I remember when I did Etape in 2023 the money I raised for Penny Brohn with your generosity literally kept me going when the going got really f-ing tough.

So if you can spare any money to help bolster me as well - more importantly - helping in the fight against this unfair, pointless, indiscriminate disease which will affect all of us in some way, I would be so grateful.
