Amsterdam Marathon 2023 · 15 October 2023 ·

PAPYRUS is the national charity for the prevention of young suicide. We run HOPELINE247 0800 068 4141 a freephone confidential helpline staffed by trained professionals who give advice, support & information to anyone who is feeling suicidal, or concerned that a young person they know may be at risk

Story

PAPYRUS Prevention of Young Suicide is the UK charity dedicated to the prevention of suicide and the promotion of positive mental health and emotional wellbeing in young people.

Sadly, suicide is the biggest killer of young people under 35 in the UK. PAPYRUS believes that many young suicides are preventable and provides confidential support and advice to young people struggling with thoughts of suicide, and anyone worried about a young person through their helpline, HOPELINEUK.

On 15th October 2023, we will be running the 2023 TCS Amsterdam Marathon to raise money for and awareness of PAPYRUS UK. We do this in memory and support of all those who have been affected by suicide, particularly in memory of Ewan Paul-Collins.

ABOUT THE TEAM:

Our team consists of Anna and George Tattersall (sister and brother), and William Roochove. We have all grown up as close friends together in the same Suffolk village.

This Marathon is a massive personal challenge for each of us, and we hope that by putting one foot in front of the other we can raise awareness for this life-changing charity.

Many thanks for any donations.

Anna, George, and Will
