This year I will be running the TCS London Marathon to raise money for Place2Be, a school based mental health charity which provides support to children, families and school staff.

I will be running in memory of Juliette who sadly died in November 2023, after a long struggle with her mental health. Juliette was a treasured friend, housemate and confidant to me. She brought adventure and laughter everywhere she went and I miss her dearly every day.

One in five children and young people now have a diagnosable mental health issue, like depression or anxiety. The work of Place2Be, ensuring that children don't have to face these problems alone, has therefore never been more important.

I am looking forward to taking on this challenge in Juliette's memory and raising money for such a worthwhile cause, which I hope might help to prevent other stories ending like Juliette's did.
