Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
After 10 years of countless hospital stays, A&E trips, doctors appointments, medications and symptoms I was diagnosed with endometriosis via laparoscopic surgery in 2023.
This surgery gave me 6 months of relief and I fell pregnant with our little boy Arthur who was born November 2024:
Unfortunately 2 months after having Arthur my symptoms returned thick and fast. I’m now back under the care of an endometriosis specialist and awaiting further investigations and appointments.
Having a chronic illness is incredibly debilitating and some days I struggle to be a mum and do very basic day to day jobs.
There isn’t enough time or funding put into women’s health and 1 in 10 women suffer from endometriosis. More needs to be done.
I am running (or attempting) to run the Hull 10k for the charity HEY Endo who support people suffering from endometriosis and other gynaecological conditions.
Thank you x
