ALL4MND Here Come the Girls!
24 peaks in 24 hours.
One challenging hike.
Raising funds for The My Name’5 Doddie Foundation.
On May 24th 2024, 20 extraordinary women will embark on a journey unlike any other. We will trek 24 of the Lake District's toughest peaks in just 24 hours, not for our own personal glory but to help find a cure for Motor Neurone Disease (MND).
MND is a devastating disease that robs people of their mobility and voice, leaving families shattered. But amidst the darkness, hope glimmers and our team of hikers, united by resilience and solidarity, will carry that hope with every step.
Among us are three physiotherapists who witness the daily struggles of MND patients. Another of our team lost her father to the disease, her resolve fuelled by a promise to honour his memory. Witnessing Rob Burrow's relentless battle against MND has fuelled the fire in many of us. We see his courage reflected in the eyes of some of our own friends who fight this disease every day within their own families.
We are not just hikers; we are warriors, mothers, daughters and friends. We are united by a common purpose: to push our limits for a cause bigger than ourselves.
Join us in this epic quest! Every donation, big or small, is a step closer to finding a cure.
Share our story, donate what you can and be a part of the movement conquering MND, one peak at a time.
