This year I am running the Great North Run for the relatively new charity, Veterans for Veterans in Care. As a charity they locate veterans, engage with them and integrate them into the veteran community via breakfast clubs, events and other veteran groups. They support family, friends & carers who want to engage with veterans throughout our community helping them understand what our “Forgotten Army” has been through.

It is an absolute privilege to be able to give something back to those who have given so much.
