Why I’m Raising Money for My Name’5 Doddie Foundation:

This May, I’m walking the Camino de Santiago (Sarria to Santiago ~120km) in honour of my mum, who recently passed away after a very brave battle with Motor Neurone Disease (MND). Watching someone you love face such a cruel and relentless illness is something I wouldn’t wish on anyone. There’s currently no cure for MND—and that needs to change.

I’ve chosen to raise money for My Name’5 Doddie Foundation because of the incredible work they do to fund vital research and support those living with MND. Every step I take on this journey is in honour of my mum, and every donation helps bring us closer to a world without MND.
