My husband, Buster, & I had always planned to cycle the Devon Coast to Coast, from Ilfracombe to Plymouth. Sadly, this was one of the many things we never got chance to do as he died very suddenly & unexpectedly in January 2024.

So, along with family & friends we’re doing the ride as a celebration of his life….a life that was filled with so much love & laughter (& moderation!)

We will be cycling from Ilfracombe to Sheepwash on Friday 13th June & onto Plymouth the following day – 37 cyclists at present, not all doing the whole ride, some just joining in for part of the journey. We also have a wonderful team of supporters to cheer us on & offer any assistance needed along the way!

I have formed this Just Giving page as people are asking if we are doing the ride for charity. The Children's Hospice South West is one of the charities I have always supported & 2 of our cyclists - Mark & Emma Smale, have experienced first hand the love & support given by the Hospice, when they lost their daughter, at just 4 years of age.
