Thank you for visiting my JustGiving page and joining me on this meaningful journey. Since joining LBG in 2022, I have experienced both the joys and challenges that life can bring. In 2023, I faced a deeply traumatic event in my marriage that had a profound emotional and financial impact on me. During this difficult time, while working in branch, the unwavering support from my colleagues and managers was truly a beacon of hope.

It was through this support network that I was introduced to The Bankers Benevolent Fund. The kindness, compassion, and understanding I received from everyone at the charity were extraordinary. They provided invaluable assistance with my finances, child benefit support, emotional wellbeing resources, and ensured I accessed all entitlements available to me. This comprehensive support system was fundamental in helping me navigate a period of immense hardship and made me feel that I was not alone.

Although the effects of my family breakdown are still felt deeply, I am now in a much better place. One source of comfort and peace has been nurturing my own fruit, vegetables, and herbs. I truly believe that I am here today because The Bankers Benevolent Fund stood by me when I needed it most.

In gratitude for their life-changing support, I am participating in a personal challenge: the Allotment Grown Herbs Sale. On Wednesdays and Fridays at Floor 8 kitchenette, I will be selling homegrown herbs with all donations going directly to The Bankers Benevolent Fund. Your generosity will help ensure that others facing hardship receive the same compassionate care that made such a difference in my life.
