Giving Back in Memory of My Mummy and Honouring Wirral Hospice St John’s

I am pushing my limits and taking on the Wirral 10k for two deeply personal reasons:

In Loving Memory of My Beloved Mummy:

To celebrate what would have been her 90th birthday. She was sadly taken from us far too young by a devastating, asbestos-related terminal disease. This challenge honours her enduring spirit, inspiration, courage, friendship and love - keeping her memory forever close in our hearts.

And In Deep Gratitude to Wirral Hospice St John’s:

To acknowledge and applaud Wirral Hospice St John’s phenomenal work and support. Like all hospices, their vital community service reaches far beyond professional medical care. They bring genuine compassion, dedication, and profound respect to patients, loved ones, and friends during life's darkest moments.

My salute also goes to the entire hospice team. I am incredibly grateful to all those people who work at the Hospice and within the local communities it serves, those committed and working closely alongside nursing staff and those behind-the-scenes, the tireless fundraisers, and the dedicated volunteers who ensure this wonderful charity can continue to provide the exceptional services that means such a lot to families like mine.
