This page has been lovingly created in memory of Anna Maria Ryan — a truly special woman, whose warmth and kindness touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.

The British Heart Foundation was a charity close to Anna Maria's heart. Both she and her husband underwent life-saving heart surgery, and she never forgot that the care they received was built on years of research the BHF had helped to fund. Supporting the charity was her way of giving something back, in the hope that other families might one day benefit in the same way.

In Anna Maria's memory, and in place of flowers, donations to the British Heart Foundation are warmly welcomed by anyone who wishes to give. There is no expectation and no pressure — every contribution, however small, helps continue the work that meant so much to her.
