Anna's fundraiser for The Brain Tumour Charity

Sky Dive in memory of Katharyn Pearson · 8 June 2025
I lost my beautiful mum to a Meningioma tumour on the 8th April 2024.
This brain tumour changed my mum not only physically but emotionally too. It also affected us as a family, to watch someone you love change and weaken was very hard. However her hilarious sense of humour stayed in tact to the very end!
I miss her dearly and nagivating through life without her is alien to me.
This is something i've always thought of maybe trying. Fear got in the way mostly! But my mum was an incredibly brave woman and im sure I can be brave too! And what a brilliant weekend to do it for World Brain Tumour Day!
She would call me bonkers, but so was she!
If you want to come watch me through myself out a plane on 8th June 2025 I will be at Langar Airfield, NG13.
Did you know?
At least 88,000 children and adults are estimated to be living with a brain tumour in the UK currently.
Brain tumours do not discriminate and they do not respect boundaries. They can strike anyone, at any age. And they strike quickly.
High grade brain tumours are different to other cancers. And this means that The Brain Tumour Charity has to work differently too.
We must move further, faster to find a cure.
