Story

Thank you so much for visiting our JustGiving page. We’ve taken on the challenge of running the Rome Marathon in support of a charity that provides vital help to people living with Huntington’s disease. We’ve even managed to persuade our two friends, Kyle and Robbie, to take it on with us!

Many of you already know how deeply this cause is connected to us, our friends and Anna’s family’s hearts. We’ve witnessed first-hand the profound and devastating impact Huntington’s can have on those diagnosed and their loved ones and therefore would love the opportunity to help anyway possible to support our friends & their family.

Huntington’s disease is an inherited condition that combines the effects of dementia, Parkinson’s, and motor neurone disease. It progressively worsens over time and currently there is no cure. However, this year brought a remarkable moment of hope: for the first time ever, the disease was successfully treated. This breakthrough opens the possibility that early treatment could one day prevent any symptoms developing.

Your donation will help fund crucial research, develop future treatments, and support families who face this disease every day. Together, we can bring real hope to the people, families, and carers affected by Huntington’s and change people’s lives.

Thank you, from the bottom of our heart, for your support it truly means a lot ❤️
