Story
Hello, my name is Anna, and I’m a nurse living in the Czech Republic.
I only started running in 2026, and in October I achieved something I once thought was impossible — I completed my very first marathon in Cologne, Germany.
Running has taught me that even the biggest challenges can be overcome, one step at a time.
On 3 April 2027, I will be running the Prague Half Marathon to support The Brain Tumour Charity. It will also be the beginning of my SuperHalfs journey.
As a nurse, I see how serious illness can change people’s lives and how much strength patients and their families need. I know that behind every diagnosis is a person with hopes, dreams and loved ones.
That’s why I want my next race to mean something beyond the finish line.
I’m hoping to raise £450 to support vital research and help people affected by brain tumours.
Every donation, no matter how small, can make a difference. And even if you cannot donate, sharing my page would mean so much to me.
Thank you for supporting this journey. Together, we can turn kilometres into hope.
With gratitude,
Anna
