The Alex Jackson Red Belt Championship is an annual memorial event for a much loved member of our club. The event organised by Bishops Stortford Judo Club raises awareness for suicide prevention and helps charities such as PAPYRUS.

This year the club hopes to extend this support into our local community by raising funds to purchase and install a crisis support bench in Birchanger Wood.

These benches provide 24/7 help and are a permanent reiminder that help is always available, displaying contact numbers and QR codes which link directly to support services with real people ready to listen.
