On 6th June 2024 I will be going to Uganda with a team organised by the charity 'Shades of Hope' for 2 weeks to work with local children and communities both in Kampala and surrounding villages. Some of the work we will be involved with includes:

- Establishing and running kids clubs in 3 schools

- Repainting and repairing a boy's dorm at Tabiro Primary School that accommodates over 40 young people, 15 of whom are resettled through the Shades of Hope Street Reach program

- Re-painting 4 classrooms in Kiriri Hope Preschool & Primary School

Funds raised will also go towards:

- A water collection point at Tabiro Primary School's dorm

- Helping support a young entrepreneur's summer workshop

- Street Reach program in Kampala, where lunch is provided, and games/sports played with some of the children that live on the streets
