💜 We’re Taking on the 7 7 7 Challenge Because It Takes an Average of Seven Tries to Leave
Leaving an abusive relationship isn’t easy and it isn’t always safe.
It takes an average of seven attempts to leave, and each one can carry even greater risk.
At NDADA, we are there through every attempt. Because we understand that leaving isn’t a single moment. It is a process — one that takes time, courage and support.
This summer, seven of us are taking on a Triathlon With a Twist
🏊 7 laps of Bude Sea Pool
🚶♀️ a 7 mile walk from Instow to Barnstaple
🚴♂️ a 7 mile cycle from Barnstaple to Braunton
We are doing this to raise £5,000 for the women, men and children NDADA supports every day — people navigating some of the most dangerous and life changing moments of their lives.
NDADA is more than a place of safety
We offer refuge and community support
We help survivors heal through therapy and group recovery courses
We support children to feel safe, seen and heard
We walk with people every step of the way — whether it is the first attempt or the seventh
Our triathlon is symbolic. The struggle behind it is very real.
Please donate what you can and help us be there every time someone finds the strength to try again
With heartfelt thanks
