Story
On the 22nd June I will be taking part in the National Three Peaks challenge with Outdoor Adventure Girls.
This will be climbing the highest mountain in England (Scafell Pike, 978m), Scotland (Ben Nevis, 1345m) and Wales (Snowdon, 1085m) summit to summit in 24 hours. This is a total distance of 23 miles and an ascent of 3064m.
Working within the community and with people who use Lindsey Lodge I see and hear of the amazing work they do and would like to help raise some funds to help them by doing this challenge.
Lindsey Lodge provides specialist care to patients with life-limiting conditions and supports family and carers during illness and into the bereavement period. All of their care is free to patients and their families, but its not free to provide. As a charity they rely on the generosity of local people and organisations to raise £4.4 million each year to keep Lindsey Lodge running and its services free of charge. 100% of all funds raised by their supporters goes straight back to the organisation.
