Story
Hi everyone! I’m running Manchester half marathon on October 13th in support of The Christie’s Charity, in memory of Andrew Donaldson.
Andrew passed away in March after a brave four year battle with pancreatic cancer. He faced his diagnosis and treatment with dignity, strength, positivity, humour and continued throughout his treatment journey to be an inspirational supporter and mentor to many in both business and charity sectors, as he had been for thirty years.
On a personal note I found him to be a kind, generous family man who was passionate about helping others.
The Christie Charity supports The Christie NHS Foundation Trust, funding groundbreaking research and treatments that help extend the lives of cancer patients, allowing them to spend more time with their families. By enhancing patient care beyond NHS provisions, the charity ensures the best possible support for patients and their loved ones during their cancer journey.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read through this. Whether you can donate or simply share this page, every bit helps!
