I’m setting myself the challenge of running the London Landmarks half marathon for King’s College Hospital Charity! This will be my first half marathon - training through the winter months hasn’t been easy but I’m really looking forward to tackling the distance and raising money for such an amazing charity!

King’s College Hospital Charity are dedicated to funding life-changing care at King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. King’s provides specialist and local health services to over one million people in South-East London and Kent, as well as critical care. This work makes innovation, as well as world class treatment, possible. Every day, King’s NHS staff work wonders to save and enhance lives now and create new possibilities for future care and treatment. They count on King’s College Hospital Charity’s support to go beyond what the NHS can provide for patients. Funds raised go towards innovative research and cutting-edge equipment to develop better treatments and care for more people. Due to the supporters, King’s College Hospital Charity are able to fund all kinds of projects to improve how people feel in King's hospitals including refurbishments and renovations of spaces in the hospital for staff and patients.
