My midlife crisis continues - backpacking, bellybutton piercing, divorce and now I have I signed up for the Bath Half Marathon and I am bricking it a bit having never done one before.

BUT - with the horrors in Ukraine, Bangladesh, Myanmar and elsewhere the British Red Cross and its humanitarian aid has never been needed more.

Through conflict, flooding or food shortages and fires, families and communities are facing unimaginable hardship. And the British Red Cross is doing all it can to help. So the least I can do is get off my arse and run for a couple of hours. If you feel able to sponsor me, even a fiver would be GREAT, then I would sooooo appreciate it. As would the people who so desperately need help.
