On the 28th October 2021 both the Cuthbertson Memorial Bridge and the Diamond Jubilee Bridge were washed away. These two bridges were a large part of local peoples lives, with some people crossing both bridges daily and others having great memories of walking there with dogs, children and grandchildren.

We are fundraising to replace these bridges and enable people to really enjoy our beautiful river walk once again. We are also hoping to make these more accessible and for the benefit of our whole community.
