100 Miles for Mary – Pedal Trossachs 2026

On Sunday 30th August, I'll be taking on the Pedal Trossachs – 100 miles of cycling through some of Scotland's most beautiful (and decidedly hilly!) countryside.

I'm doing it to support my lovely friend Claire and Team Mary: 10K for 10 years, raising funds for ACCORD Hospice in memory of Claire's mum, Mary.

It is ten years since Mary died, having spent her final days being cared for by ACCORD Hospice. Claire and her family have never forgotten the care and compassion they received at such a difficult time, and their aim is to raise £10,000 so that ACCORD can continue to provide that same care and support to other families when they need it most.

So I've decided to add my own challenge to Team Mary's efforts.

100 miles. One day. Quite a lot of hills.

Every donation, however small, will help Team Mary towards that £10,000 target and support the invaluable work of ACCORD Hospice.
