Final update - Friday 16th May 2025

This morning we completed laps 75 - 80 of the fundraising walk round the Heritage Park loch.

Peter & I would like to thank everyone for their generous support over the last few weeks.

To date the total raised for Christian Aid in this walk is:

£1254 in donations

£269 in gift aid

It has been a pleasure walking 80 laps to fundraise and to celebrate the 80th birthday of Christian Aid.

Update - Tues 13 May:

Peter and l are now on the final stages of walking round the Loch.

We have completed 65 of the 80 laps, and will be walking the final 15 laps over the next 3 days- Wednesday, Thursday and finishing on Friday 16 May.

We would like to thank everyone for their generous donations to Christian Aid - a great cause whose work is as vital now as it has ever been.

We have really enjoyed walking the laps, and the weather has been amazing.

Update 27 April:

Just to let you know we've started doing laps of the loch and have completed 10 so far. Just 70 more to go! I'm doing the laps with my husband Peter and we will be doing 5 a day for the next couple of weeks. Sincere thanks to all who have donated so far. 2025 is the 80th birthday of Christian Aid.

This charity gives support worldwide to people facing poverty, injustice and disasters such as famine, floods and wars.

To fundraise for Christian Aid I will be walking 80 laps round the Heritage Park in East Kilbride.

I will be grateful for donations to raise funds for this very worthwhile cause.
