Story
This memorial page is in memory of Anne Dargue.
Anne Dargue nee Moore died suddenly on the 26th September aged 88 years, dearly loved wife of the late Ray and a much loved Mum, Grandma, Great Grandma and friend to many.
Anne was involved in many community organisations and thankfully was able to lead a busy and rewarding life right to the end. She was an active member of Westborough Methodist Church, and volunteered in the coffee shop, ran the Cameo group, and helped at lego church. She was a member of Scarborough Civic Society, and Scarborough u3a, regularly participating in the Strollers, Hub, and Line Dancing groups. Before Covid, Anne volunteered at Scarborough Hospital, helping in the stroke unit, and prior to that she was a WRVS volunteer, and an energetic fundraiser and community event organiser in the Lions Club.
It was Anne's wish that any donations in her memory be made to The Aplastic Anaemia Trust. Her beloved elder daughter Julie suffered from aplastic anaemia and was supported by the Trust before her death in 2005, aged 46.
Any donations in memory of our lovely Mum would be much appreciated, and we'd love to hear from you.
RIP Mum, you'll be greatly missed by everyone who knew you.
