I am raising money for a charity very close to home, Langcliffe Singers, a community choir based in Settle, North Yorkshire. The choir was formed by Valerie Baulard and has been bringing choral singing to the Yorkshire Dales for over 40 years. Local amateur musicians come together to work with a professional conductor & accompanist and put on concerts for many people to enjoy in the Craven area.

Very close to home for me as my husband Brian has been the accompanist of this choir for over 30 years.

As well as being a musician myself (I am a violinist) I am also an avid crafter, mainly knitting and crocheting and have decided to take on the challenge of crocheting a beautiful work of art. I will be making the stunning “Spirit of Flora” by designer Janie Crow. I have 19 balls of yarn (5,870 metres), a crochet hook and a pattern in front of me and now I am asking for your support to help me create this amazing 5 foot by 4 foot blanket.
