In support of a friend who I recently learnt has cancer, and who herself did a lot to raise money for cancer charities throughout her life, even as recently as this year completing the Race for Life despite her illness, I have taken the decision to support a charity she has chosen, and completely shave my head in recognition of one of the side effects of the devastating treatments cancer patients endure. During the end of life, the dedicated nurses from Marie Curie are there to support and comfort those suffering this devastating disease.

And we push for a better end of life for all by campaigning and sharing research to change the system.
