As some of you will know, my Mum was diagnosed with bowel cancer in August 2023, which then spread to the liver over the following months. In April 2024 she was given 3-6 months to live - but 3 days following this devastating prognosis she passed away, leaving us totally shocked.

The 2025 London Marathon takes place 2 days after the 1st anniversary of her passing away, so the training and fundraising in the coming months will hopefully help me focus on something positive, whilst raising funds for a charity very close to our hearts.

Macmillan gives people with cancer so much wonderful support, and they're also there for the families of those who are receiving treatment - their work is truly amazing. But they need more donations to keep this vital work going.
