Story
As many of you will know, I lost my Mum to cancer in April 2024, and ran London Marathon 2025 in her memory, raising £5,600 along the way. I was extremely grateful for everyone's support during such a tough time - the training as well as fundraising really did give me a positive focus.
After going through such a sad time of my life it was devastating to then lose my Father-in-Law to cancer in June 2025, just 14 months later, a real kick in the stomach for our families after all we had been through over the last 2 years.
It made me more determined than ever to run for Macmillan again and raise vital funds for their amazing work, especially after the support they have offered our families in such awful times. And the date of the Marathon will on 26th April, just 1 day after the 2nd anniversary of losing my Mum.
Macmillan work so hard to do whatever it takes to help everyone living with cancer across the UK get the support they need right now, and are transforming cancer care for everyone who will be diagnosed in the future.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and secure. Your details are safe and once you donate they'll send your money directly to Macmillan.
Thank you for supporting my fundraising.
