Story
It has been 25 years since NRAS Founder, Ailsa Bosworth MBE, launched NRAS. After feeling frustrated with the lack of information and support she had received since her diagnosis with RA, Ailsa knew there were many more people out there who needed help.
NRAS will be celebrating their 25th anniversary in October 2026 and now provide a lifeline for the 450,000 people with RA and the 10,000 children and young people living with juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) across the UK. Both RA and JIA are devastating, lifelong autoimmune conditions, currently with no cure.
To celebrate their 25th Anniversary, I will be taking part in their Take on 25 Challenge and taking on a challenge containing the number 25!
I will be completing 25 hours of line dancing. Line dancing combines my love of dance with the mental agility of learning the step patterns. As someone living with RA, I find that line dancing is also a fun way to keep moving without being too challenging on my joints.
Please donate whatever you can to support me and help continue to change the lives of all those with RA and JIA in the UK. I may even post some videos of me line dancing! 🤠
