HOPEWALK 2025 · 1 May 2025 to 31 May 2025 · Start fundraising for this event

HOPEWALK is back and better than ever - this year it's happening in May! Whether you walk in memory of a loved one, to raise money for PAPYRUS or to smash the stigma around suicide, we are so grateful for your support.

Story

On Sunday May 18th Hywel Dda University Health Board’s Community Children’s Nursing Team with the support of colleagues, family and friends will be walking along the Tywi Valley cycle path to raise awareness and vital funds for PAPYRUS.

PAPYRUS is the national charity for the Prevention of Young Suicide.

Suicide is the biggest killer of young people under the age of 35 in the UK, every year over 1800 young people take their own lives. PAPYRUS provides confidential support and advice to young people struggling with thoughts of suicide, and anyone worried about a young person through their helpline, HOPELINE247.

Every £15 raised can contribute towards a life-saving contact to HOPELINE247. Your donations really are changing lives, thank you.
