Camino de Santiago 2024 · 15 September 2024 to 21 September 2024 ·

Evora Hospice, formerly Southern Area Hospice Services, helps patients with life-limiting conditions live well from diagnosis to end-of-life, providing care tailored to each person's unique needs, wishes, and quality of life.

Story

I am walking part of the Camino de Santiago 113km in 5days from Sarria to Santiago. From 1st to 8th of May 2024. To raise vital funds for the Southern Area Hospice in Newry.

The Hospice provide such an incredible source of pallative care, dignity and understanding to patients and their families. Some of my own family members have availed of the hospice throughout the years. A wonderful and much needed charity in our community.

I am dedicating my pilgrimage to my brother James McCann. This will be the 20yr anniversary of his passing. I know he will be with me every step of the way.
