On 13 September I will join “The Three Churches Walk” around Gazeley, Moulton and Dalham in the beautiful Suffolk countryside, to support the Suffolk Historic Churches Trust Annual Ride and Stride campaign, and my local Church, All Saints Newmarket.

The walk is approximately 6.5 miles / 10.5 km in total. The countryside is stunning but not what you would call hilly, although Gazeley is set on top of a hill and Moulton and Dalham are in the valley of the River Kennett below.

I’ve not done this walk before so with my map reading skills it could be longer!!!!!

Half of the money raised will go to All Saints Church, Newmarket. The other 50% will go to the Suffolk Historic Church Trust which provides grants to local churches for essential repairs and renovations.

Our church is more than a religious venue; it is a focal point for a wide range of local activities, offering a welcoming space for social groups, charitable events, cultural activities, and outreach programs designed to combat loneliness and support vulnerable people. To continue to meet the needs of our local community, we have started fundraising to upgrade our kitchen and facilities.
