Our beloved mother Anne Smith, Granny Apple to her grandchildren, passed away suddenly after a short illness just a few days before her 86th birthday. She was a huge character and always full of life and joy. She lived every day to the full and always had a packed diary. Anne juggled time with family and friends and her many hobbies. She was passionate about Bridge, horse racing, the arts and opera in particular and would never miss going for a long walk every day. She was walking in the Alps just a few weeks ago and playing Bridge right up to the end of a very full and long life.

Anne, Mum, Granny Apple will be sorely missed by her children, her grandchildren and all of her extended family and dear friends.
