On September 5th, 2026, I will be participating in the Chillswim Windermere event, swimming 11 miles, End to End, aiming to raise £500 for this incredible cause. Swimming is like nothing else. It is a journey filled with skills developed, confidence built, and joys felt that are universal to all. It has saved my life this past year, and I’m so grateful for what it has given me. Yet, access to swimming in the UK is not equal for everyone.
