Established in 1967, Young Music Makers has been at the heart of music-making in North London for 50 years. I am a YMM Trustee and would like to use the opportunity of my 70th birthday to raise money for this wonderful Saturday music centre.

Young Music Makers is committed to providing inclusive access to music-making - and the joy it brings - to the young people it serves. It’s a registered charity which offers a supportive and inspirational teaching environment where motivated and talented teachers empower students with the skills to explore their musical potential. It raises money for bursaries to help remove the financial barriers to children who would otherwise not be able to afford music lessons, and maintains a stock of instruments which are lent at heavily discounted rates to students who need to borrow them.

Any donation would support this wonderful organisation to continue its mission of helping young people develop their musical skills, build confidence and make meaningful connections.
