Story
Three years ago, my brother’s world changed when he was diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia (CML).
Since then, I’ve seen first-hand the strength, resilience, and determination it takes to live with this disease—not just for him, but for all those affected by blood cancer. It’s something no family ever expects to face, yet so many do.
That’s why I’ve decided to take on not one, but two half marathons—the Bristol Half Marathon on 10th May and the Manchester Half Marathon on 31st May—raising money for Cure Leukaemia. This charity does incredible work funding a network of specialist research nurses across the UK, helping blood cancer patients access pioneering drug and transplant treatments. Without these nurses, clinical trials wouldn’t be possible, and patients who have exhausted standard treatment options could miss out on potentially lifesaving therapies.
Every penny raised helps save lives and brings us closer to a future where blood cancer can be eradicated.
Every mile I run is for my brother, and for everyone fighting their own battle.
If you’re able to support, no matter how big or small, it would mean so much. Your donation will help make a real difference.
Thank you ❤️
