We are taking part in the Sunflower Sprint this May for Lingen Davies Cancer Support.

In June 2025, Lingen Davies launched a £5 million appeal to double chemotherapy provision in our region by 2029. The Sunflower Appeal will create a new chemotherapy unit, outpatient clinics and diagnostic centres at Princess Royal Hospital, Telford.

This cause is close to our hearts as a friend of ours has received treatment at the Lingen Davies centre.

She has taken her diagnosis and treatment all in her stride, with such courage and bravery.

She has been able to make a good recovery thanks to the Lingen Davies centre, and we are all very proud of her.

Please help us raise money for this vital service, having a centre in Telford as well as Shrewsbury will be of benefit to so many people. Being closer to home will make the treatment easier to access for more people.

We are doing this sunflower sprint as a group and our children are also joining us so they too can help raise vital funds.
