Story

I (Kristian Annett) and Billy Campbell will be running the 2024 Belfast City Marathon for Brainwaves NI. Zach, Harry, and Georgie Annett will be running the relay along with Ella McCallister and Steffie Kerr.

As some of you may know, my Uncle John - Zach’s Dad - was diagnosed with Glioblastoma, the most common yet most aggressive form of brain tumour. There is yet to be a cure or advances in treatment in 20 years - therefore much needed funds are required to improve prognosis and survival in patients diagnosed with Glioblastoma.

Brainwaves NI is both a research and support charity. Money raised for this charity stays within Northern Ireland - already Brainwaves NI has provided over £500,000 funding to vital research through Queen’s University Belfast.

Any donations, no matter how small, would make a huge difference to our family and so many others affected by brain tumours in Northern Ireland. Thank you.
