halow project was started in 2006 by a group of five families who wanted better provision and opportunities for their children, who were coming towards the end of their time in education. Those families passionately believed that having a learning disability should not prevent anyone from enjoying a full and happy life.

My daughter, Aimee, has benefitted enormously from the opportunities halow provide for developing life skills and independence, making friendships and having fun. She volunteers at their weekly youth group and is a keen participant in the many activities and outings they regularly provide for young adults with special needs.

Aimee is very excited about the prospect of me abseiling down Guildford Cathedral on her birthday - I however wouldn't describe my emotions in the same way!

I understand that now is a difficult time for people financially and I am very grateful for any donations. Thank you x
