Sam is really into fitness these days. Last year, he was asked to help at new sporting charity based in Weymouth, All In!, which is affiliated to the Special Olympics organisation and provides sporting opportunities for children with intellectual, physical and life-long disabilities. Through their engaging and fun group sessions, they aim to inspire and empower young children to become athletes through the Special Olympics Young Athletes programme.

Sam really enjoys the sessions, he loves being part of their team and proudly wears his All In! t shirt. He is also keeping up with his swimming too, regularly being coached with Masters at Dorchester Sports Centre. He uses the gym there every week and at college too.

We were thinking of a way to fund raise for All In! - they don’t receive any direct funding. So for the month of March we will be counting the lengths he swims each week at his coaching sessions and the reps he does for each item of gym equipment and reporting back how he is doing over the weeks.

Sam would really appreciate any support you can give to his efforts this coming month. This is also approaching World Down Syndrome Awareness Day on 21st March, so good opportunity to put his little face out there regularly throughout the month, and keep friends and acquaintances up to date on what hes doing in his otherwise busy life.
