In August 2023 my granddaughter, Hope, was born unexpectedly terminally ill and passed away 10 days after later. This, obviously, was an extremely difficult time for my daughter, Jess, Son-in-Law, Owen and all of our family.

Following losing Hope, Claire House were a tremendous support for Jess, Owen and their girls, offering them support through therapy, complimentary massages and sibling events, such as soft play, easter egg hunts, as well as providing them with keep sakes of Hope, such as hand/foot print charms! This is something I did not know Claire House actually did, however they have been truly amazing!

This year I am taking on my biggest challenge yet by completing the Chester Tripple! This includes:

∙ Chester 10km – March 2025

∙ Chester Half Marathon (13.1 mile) – May 2025

∙ Chester Metric Marathon (26.2km) – October 2025.

I’m hoping to raise £750 for Claire House to help support families, like ours, who have to go through the unthinkable. Throughout my training journey, I will be fundraising in the background to try reach my target. Any contributions, big or small, are greatly appreciated!
