Annette Russell is raising money for Highland Group RDA

Aberdeen Kiltwalk, Dava Ghost walk, Hadrian's wall W

Highland Group RDA is developing the first independent RDA centre for the Highlands, at Reelig, Kirkhill, near Inverness. The charity strives to enrich lives through horses for disabled adults and children. The vision is for a community hub - outdoor arena, reception/café, stabling, indoor school.

Story

Another year another fundraiser but this year we're stepping up and stepping out on 3 separate walks totaling 132 miles.

We head to Aberdeen on 1st June to complete the 18 mile Kiltwalk then on 21st June we do the 24 mile overnight Dava ghost walk, where we walk from Granton on Spey to Forres along the old Highland railway. In September we leave for Newcastle and power through 90 miles along Hadrian's Wall ending in Carlisle

Our chosen charity this year is Riding for Disabled - The Highland Group as after speaking with volunteers, who expressed the continual challenge of funds needed to keep this group open. It is greatly underestimated the therapeutic value both physically and mentally, to those who participate in the group.

Your continued support is much appreciated
