The Seaside Sparklers want to make a real difference and support the vital work of the Blue Skies hospital fund charity. In order to do this we are joining the annual dragon boat race and asking for donations and sponsors.

We have 3 teams each with 17 people with mixed abilities who are going to push their boundaries physically and mentally to complete this challenge. That's an amazing 51 seaside sparklers.

Blue Skies Hospitals Fund is the only charity dedicated to enhancing patient care for Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This Charity enhances the provision of first-class patient care for public benefit. It supports the provision of healthcare, free at or fully supported, by central NHS funds. Blue Skies Hospitals Fund exists to support the best in healthcare and medical research at the Trust. Its aim is to help the Trust become world-class in-patient care.
