Story
I am walking to support my sister, Nicola. She was diagnosed with Non Hodgkins Lymphoma late last year. She has just completed her final round of chemotherapy, and awaits further tests and results.
She wanted to take part in this Walk to mark this point in her personal journey, and her immediate family are walking with her to support her through the day. It is, if you like, the physical manifestation of the support we have all being trying to give her since her diagnosis.
Her friend, Scully - who has also being undergoing treatment for Lymphoma this year - is the other prized member of our team.
And we are just going to “Ramble On!” until we have passed all 8 of those monumental bridges.
And whilst walking, we will reflect on the monumental challenges that those living with Lymphoma deal with every day, and show our gratitude that Lymphoma Action is there to help each and every one of them.
If you are able to make a donation - no matter how great or small it may be - then please do so. Know that by doing this you are contributing to the donations I require to walk alongside my sister.
And know that therefore your donation is encouraging her and her friend along every step of their journey - both physically on the 14th - and also by enabling Lymphoma Action to be there to support them - and many like them - as they go forward on their life journey.
Thank you for reading this message. Please help if you can.
