Why I’m raising money 💛

I’m taking part in a charity event on 18th April to raise money for Yorkshire Cancer I’m going to be a live model in a shop window as part of a community charity event (still not sure how I got talked into this 😂) all to raise money for Yorkshire Cancer 💛 a cause that means so much to me and so many people in our community.

Through my Slimming World groups and everyday life, I see just how many lives cancer touches. It affects our friends, our families, our members… and sometimes people are going through it quietly without many even realising.

This event is all about coming together as a community, supporting one another and doing something positive to help make a difference.

I’ll be stepping a little out of my comfort zone (which feels slightly scary but also exciting!) because if it helps raise money and awareness, then it’s 100% worth it.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, will go towards supporting people affected by cancer and the incredible work that Yorkshire Cancer does.
