Joon has been involved with ELCB for over a year now, as both an assistant band director, musician, and now mentor. He is extremely passionate about the cause of making music education accessible, especially to underserved communities. ELCB has been a staple in the East London community for over 50 years now and has a proven track record of helping people of all ages, races, ethnicities, and socioeconomic statuses get involved in a community of music, whether they went to school for music (like Joon) or this is the first time they've ever held an instrument.
