Hi everyone!

My Dad was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in November 2023. On September 13th 2024, he was rushed into hospital as the disease had started to affect his body.

Sadly Dad fell asleep on 8th May 2026, aged 76.

I'm running the Royal Parks Half Marathon on 11th October 2026 to raise money for Alzheimer's Research UK. Dad loved running, he trained many children with the OWLS and Wigston Phoenix Running Clubs in Leicester, and also ran a keep fit class in Newbold Verdon and Barlestone. He also coached myself and my brother when we were younger.

I'm doing this for him 💕

It's really important to me that we help raise funds to be able to prevent Alzheimer's in the future. It's too late for my Dad, but it might not be for us and our children. We only have one life, so let's make it a good one ⚡

In 2024 I raised £2160 and in 2025 I raised £705. Thank you 🙏🏼
